Our rules ensure that members can enjoy their fishing in peace and quiet and that our future fishing is protected.

 

Members must familiarise themselves with them, as by paying your subs you’re deemed to accept these current rules and principles.

 

Principles 

1. You MUST do your utmost to avoid damage to fish, our wildlife, or the fishery.

2. You MUST NOT interfere with the enjoyment of others. 

 

Rules

1. ALL gates MUST be kept locked at all times with padlocks scrambled, to maximise fish security and the safety of our members .

2. NO dogs or pets allowed.

3. NO boats are to be used. Only ones provided onsite but not without the permission of management or only in an emergency situation. No bait boats are allowed either. 

4. You MUST carry out at least ONE work party during your chosen ticket period. We pride ourselves on being a team.

5. Under NO circumstances are you allowed to speak to the press/media about Wingham Fisheries or post photos on social media without permission. Sponsored Anglers aren't allowed to promote themselves. 

6. You MUST at all times be close enough to your rods to reach them (within 10 seconds).

7. You may fish up to 18 nights maximum during each ticket. Except the Spring on the Main Lake which is 24 nights. Additionally, you may fish no more than 4 nights in any consecutive 14 night period. This keeps our angling pressure low.

8. Immediately on arrival you MUST fill in the sign-in book. On returning your equipment to the car park after packing up you must also sign out. All catches to be logged with management within 24hrs.

9. NO leaders, including lead core, may be used. Only safe-zone, built in leaders. 

10. NO nuts, including peanuts and tiger nuts, may be brought onto site.
